Jackie has been a good friend for many years. She was a help and support to many a leader throughout the years and will be sorely missed by many.

R.I.P Jackie,
1 of the finest Cub Leaders to walk through the door @ 5th Horsham (as it was in those days) She was my first Leader & 1 of a very select group of Leaders I had who's teachings will be forever engraved on my brain. Jubilee Cub pack was a fun, energetic & encouraging pack & I look back fondly on my times there.....because of Jackie.
I am also the proud owner of Jackie's first Scout belt which she gifted to me on my investiture into the Scout troop & this is still my most prized part of my uniform & I will continue to wear with pride. She always had time to talk with me & could recall many stories of my antics as a youngster and was still fully aware of how I would react to situations even as an adult, which caught me out on many occasions inc the day she met Megan & told her we were getting married.
It was at WS 2009 & as we walked into the barn where the Radio was being run from, we were greeted with "I heard you were hear & wondered how long it would take for you to come see me........but its wonderful to see you", I can clearly recall Peter sitting in the corner giggling at Jackie's reaction. Jackie approved wholeheartedly of Megan & for me, that was as important as getting approval from my Parents.
I know everyone will have many memories of Jackie that are personal to them, but I wanted to share a few of mine. Jackie will be sorely missed but her Scouting influence will live on in the people she worked with over the years & what could be a greater testament?
Our love and thoughts are with Peter & family.

Well said, Alan.
So grateful to Jackie - she was a huge influence on you and many other lads who joined her Cub Pack. After she left 5th she continued to be a great source of support and encouragement to us leaders.
As with so many leaders, Jackie & Peter were a real team, supporting each other.
Our thoughts are with Peter and family.
